Emergency Lighting 2024.
Lets learn about the Emergency lighting.

Emergency lighting is a matter of law and is a critical to life system in buildings which is heavily legislated and heavily monitored for compliance, with severe consequences for failure to meet your obligations.

What is Emergency Lighting? How does it work? What are the requirements? How do I select the right type? These are all questions we will help you discover answers to in this session and empower you with a better understanding of Emergency Lighting across a varied number of topics.

By the end of this CPD delegates should:

1. Understand what Emergency lighting. Why it is needed and what does it aim to achieve.
2. Know your obligations in delivering Emergency Lighting.
3. What types of Emergency system types are available. What do they do and what do they do not do.
4. How to plan Emergency lighting.
5. Have learnt best practices.

NLU - The use of LEDs in Lighting
The purpose of this seminar is to provide an overview of the energy saving opportunities available by using LED instead of traditional lighting sources. It explains how LEDs achieve an extended life, high lumen output and good colour rendering. The need to consider cost of ownership rather than capital cost in calculation of LED payback is explained along with typical applications both today and in the future. The seminar concludes by summarising that LEDs have a role to play in energy saving, but lighting design best practice must not be compromised as a result, which means that the use of LED must be done in sympathy with the required lit space that is required.
