This presentation provides an insight in to the benefits of decentralising the hot water system (HWS) using point of use (POU) stored water heaters and instantaneous water heaters. It includes tips on sizing and calculating the appropriate type of water heater for each application. Potential energy and water savings are discussed, using examples to illustrate what can be achieved.
