This CPD seminar looks at the whole issue of designing spaces where we can sit together, and examines some basic concepts when choosing seats. It includes a guide to applicable UK regulations and standards, advice on selecting and designing seats to fit a space, and an overview of ergonomics, acoustics, sustainability and manufacturing processes.

Collaboration is much talked about these days, especially when it comes to workplace design. Dr Nigel Oseland, a psychologist specialising in the workplace, recently conducted a literature review of the psychology of collaboration and how that might impact workplace design. This presentation shares his findings with you.
