This seminar looks at the specification of windows, and in particular UPVC windows. It examines how the windows market has changed over the years – looking at past, present and future window specifications and requirements – and how UPVC windows are appropriate in specialist applications e.g. zero carbon developments. Finally, it discusses future developments within the window industry, and how companies are future-proofing their systems.

It describes the advantages of using steel windows today and the important part they have to play in restoration and conservation projects, before concluding with a look at the steel window of the future.
