Includes: an explanation and demonstration of sound, sound frequencies, reverberation and noise, guidance on Building Regulations’ Part E requirement for reverberation controls in schools and common areas, how Part E should be used as good practice for non-school applications, advice on the importance of low frequency reverberation control for hearing impaired people, and an overview of the benefits and disadvantages associated with passive and resonating solutions.
