Tobermore's CPD factory visit covers all of the main aspects involved in the design and manufacture of high quality landscaping materials. Its state-of-the-art factory facility provides visitors with an opportunity see every stage in the manufacturing process.

European Quality Award winner Tobermore is one of the leading manufacturers of paving, concrete and natural stone products in the UK. Its extensive product range includes block paving, permeable paving, paving slabs, kerbing, retaining walling, natural stone and street furniture. It sells to construction and landscape markets throughout the UK and Ireland.
Provides an understanding of the benefits of stormwater source control systems as an alternative drainage method, the problems associated with traditional methods, types of permeable paving and SUDS available and the advantages and disadvantages of each, and maintenance and performance issues.

Hanson Formpave's manufactures permeable paving SUD systems designed to control stormwater run-off and the subsequent overloading and pollution of water courses. Their products are capable of reducing a building's reliance on gas and/or electricity for heating and cooling by up to 50 per cent. The company also manufactures standard and specialist concrete block pavers, kerbs and ancillaries.

The training consists of a 45-minute presentation by TigerTurf representatives, followed by a 15-minute question and answer session.
