This seminar looks at the design of bioscience facilities and the specification of GRP doors for biohazard containment. It will help the specifier to understand the risk types and levels to consider when designing bioscience facilities. It also offers valuable guidance on the function of doors in bio containment and how to comply with standards for cleaning, hygiene, acoustics and fire.

Examines: the performance requirements of doorsets, such as fire, acoustics and security; risks and risk reduction when specifying multiple performance criteria in a doorset; the implications of selecting integrity-only, versus integrity and insulation fire doorsets; standards for performance in the UK and Europe and trends in doorset specification, and; doorset certification – how to prove performance compliance.
