The following CPD materials have all been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
Covers the key design principles for waterproofing below-ground structures in accordance with BS8102:2009, introducing the three generic types of waterproofing protection and grades of internal environment for different forms of use. Management of risk is also considered by reference to successful (and unsuccessful) project case studies.

Fosroc aims to achieve an optimum solution for each construction project by producing bespoke specifications from an extensive range of types A, B and C waterproofing products, including BBA-approved options in all forms. Seminar, by Triton Systems
Offers a greater awareness of BS 8102: 2009, the Code of Practice for Protection of Below Ground Structures. It details the grades of waterproofing required, types of waterproofing systems available, and relevant standards and regulations applying to both new build and retrofit projects.

Triton Systems is an established supplier of all types of structural waterproofing systems (types A, B and C, as defined in BS 8102 2009). Its BBA-approved systems are used widely in the construction of watertight concrete structures, such as commercial and domestic basements, car parks and swimming pools. This seminar looks at the key factors placing pressure on water resources and demonstrates how rainwater harvesting can contribute to providing a sustainable water resource. This 16½-minute video presentation covers sound proofing and compliance with Part E/Section 5 of the Building Regulations. It also includes information on methods of compliance and pre-completion testing suitable for floors, walls and ceilings on new build, refurbishment and conversion projects.

Mains pressure water systems (otherwise known as unvented cylinders) can solve many issues in both domestic and commercial heating and hot water designs. Information about industry techniques and sizing for specification can solve many issues, including poor water flow and/or pressure, space and efficiency, making SAP codes more achievable. This CPD seminar provides that information and answers many common questions.
