Seminar, by Hettich
This CPD seminar shows how, by using the latest furniture technology components available on the market, space can be used to maximum effect in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and office areas. It looks at both residential and commercial applications, and features the latest hinges, drawer runners and boxes, sliding door systems and lighting products.

Hettich is based in Vlotho, north-west Germany. It researches, develops, manufactures and distributes functional furniture fittings of all kinds, from hinges to drawer runners, wirework to sliding door mechanisms, lighting to cams and dowels. Hettich is a global manufacturer with production facilities in Europe, North and South America, and China. R&D is based at its factory in Kirchlengern, Germany.

Workstation design impacts health, comfort and worker output. This seminar sheds light on these interrelationships, the risk factors related to prolonged periods working in front of a computer screen, how an awareness of ergonomic factors can positively influence your designs and benefit your clients, and the key elements of an ergonomic workstation. The overall effect is to provide a better understanding of how to create healthier work environments though applied ergonomic design.
