Seminar, by Creation Baumann
Details the basics of acoustics in room environments, how sound absorption works, and the acoustic benefits of textiles. Noise can be irritating in private and public spaces. It is often especially problematic in contemporary designs featuring a lot of glass and concrete, due to echoes and other unpleasant acoustic characteristics. This seminar explores the innovation and sound control offered by acoustic textiles.

Creation Baumann was established in the late 1800s, and has since been expertly manufacturing textiles at its in-house mill in Langenthal, Switzerland.
