In response to increased demand for sustainability and CO2 reduction manufacturers have had to rise to the challenge of providing more innovative products and solutions that aid the reduction of embodied carbon. Often, this is achieved by recycling and reducing wastage and transport miles, and by implementing on-site solutions such as solar energy, heat recovery and rainwater harvesting. This is known as operational carbon.
