This CPD presentation explores the aims and design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and looks at traditional and modern systems both above and below ground. It also examines the latest methods of ‘source control SuDS’, the pros and cons of different systems, and potential pitfalls to be aware of.

The primary objectives of this seminar are to: outline the key factors that place pressure on water resources, demonstrate how rainwater harvesting can contribute to providing a sustainable water resource, provide a full appreciation of the legislative requirements in place to conserve water, and to help understand the options and key components associated with a rainwater harvesting system.
