Wall cladding panels

The following CPD materials have all been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
Seminar, by Sorba UK Ltd
Sets out to educate specifiers on the design parameters, materials and applications of metal rainscreen façade solutions, primarily in an external environment.

Recognising that the architectural industry is more diverse than many, this seminar has been framed to specifically address those issues which, throughout many years and discussions with specifiers, crop up most often. Topics therefore range from design awareness to material capabilities and recycling.

Sorba UK Ltd is part of the Sorba BV group of European façade solutions providers that engineer, manufacture and install their own bespoke systems using materials ranging from metal, glass and special aluminium-based composites to GFRC glass reinforced concrete. Sorba solutions include complete through-wall applications for external and internal façades. The company is also a specialist in engineering and providing solutions for large infrastructure schemes – making it the total envelope contractor for all clients.

Approximate duration excluding time for questions/answers: 40 minutes.
Seminar, by Lundhs AS
When specifying natural stone it is important to know how the material will react to different environmental and physical stresses. Every natural stone is unique, and the composition of natural stone tells us a lot about the material’s abilities. This seminar provides specifiers with expert guidance on the formation, quarrying process, surfaces, testing and applications of various natural stone types.

Lundhs operates quarries that deliver unique natural stone, only found in Norway, and provides branded natural stone concepts for trade and architects. Lundhs materials can be found in many well-known landmark buildings around the world.

Lundhs is family owned and one of the largest quarry owners in Northern Europe. It frequently collaborates with architects and specifiers to provide technical support and insight into natural stone.

Approximate duration excluding time for questions/answers: 50 minutes.
