Looks at office design and why health and happiness are important in the modern workplace. Covers: the history of office design, what legislation is in place to support the design process, the social impact of design, products available that support this, why employees’ health and wellbeing is important in the modern workplace, and the future of the working environment.

Practical guidance on how to incorporate dementia design principles into a project or space from inception to handover. Using a mixture of theory and practice, this program identifies key design considerations in support of those with dementia and/or suffering from cognitive impairment. A variety of learning channels are available, including lectures, workshops and discussion groups.

Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) is an international centre for knowledge exchange and research impact dedicated to improving the lives of people with dementia. The centre is based at the University of Stirling, which is widely recognised for its work in the field of dementia and ageing research.
