Seminar, by Ibstock Telling
A CPD seminar that aims to heighten awareness of the creative use of extruded and pressed milled clay in architecture, and to showcase systems that are versatile in format, texture, dimension and finish. Gone are the days of limitations in format and colour. This seminar provides examples of completed schemes and the methods used to achieve them, and offers insight into specialised support systems, extrusion dies and glazes that have been developed for clients worldwide.

Telling Architectural has been offering solutions in the design of rainscreen cladding and clay sun shading for over 10 years across the UK and North America. It has an in-house design department for CAD and engineering, with system testing and technical approvals (BBA, AAMA, ASTM and BREEAM).

The purpose of this seminar is to help raise awareness of engineered rainscreen cladding support systems and their benefits in terms of safety, economy, the environment and ‘build-ability’, as part of the building envelope. It also considers the best ways to maximise the potential of a successful façade installation and minimise the risks of a poor one.

Nvelope Rainscreen Systems is a British manufacturer of rainscreen cladding support systems. Nvelope products carry British Board of Agrément (BBA) certification. Its product is easy to specify (its exterior cladding systems are available with NBS Plus specification clauses and with AutoCAD files) and it provides project vision and transparency through its support service (static calculations and m2 budget pricing). Nvelope Rainscreen Systems manufactures ‘installer friendly’ systems – designed with the installer in mind, for fast-track construction.
