RIBA Core Curriculum: Being safe

This CPD seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the reasons for specifying safety flooring, along with relevant HSE statistics and guidance. The importance of sustainable wet-slip resistance offered by particle-based safety flooring is covered, along with details of recommended slip resistance testing. Other topics discussed include industry standards, use area guidance and the importance of maintenance.

This is a must-do approved and accredited course for any architects wanting to be appointed principal designer. Attendance will ensure that he or she has the knowledge to discharge the CDM 2015 duties and to know what it is to be in control of health and safety coordination in the pre-construction phase of a project. Passing the end-of-course test exempts participants from the APS on-line test and gives them three points towards incorporated membership.
