Designed to provide guidance on the Government’s key initiatives surrounding terrorist attacks, this seminar covers all types of automatic door including standard, enhanced security, and bomb blast automatic entrance solutions (designed to protect crowded places during, and after, an attack). It explains how risks are assessed and the specific considerations that need to be addressed when specifying automated doors.

This seminar covers the basics of passive fire protection and fire-stop systems, including relevant building regulations, product testing criteria and standard applications, such as services penetrations, joints, edge of slab joints and cast-in solutions. It examines industry myths, using examples of bad practice and good practice. Architects attending this seminar should, as a result, be able to confidently select and specify fire-stop systems.
