This presentation includes a description of how veneers are sliced from the log and jointed. Its primary focus is on the new and innovative ways in which popular veneers, such as oak and walnut, are finished to produce aesthetically pleasing effects.

Finaspan is a fifth-generation independent family business, based in Belgium, that has supplied the UK market with real wood veneered panels for the last 35 years. Finaspan offers a wide range of wood veneer species, cut in a number of ways to create a variety of grains, patterns and colours that cater to all markets – from commercial to high-end applications.

This seminar: explains the calculation principles used in SAP, SBEM and EPCs and their impact on the design of a building’s energy systems; discusses each form of renewable energy and how to use it effectively; describes mistakes that can be made unwittingly, and how to avoid them, and; proposes how to add renewables during a building’s life and what steps to take first.

Timóleon is a principal UK manufacturer of underfloor heating. All its products have been specifically designed and tested to work with renewable energy sources. Having been asked to investigate and correct many under-performing installations supplied by others, Timóleon has learned how to specify really effective renewable energy systems.
