This seminar explains the main functions and features that architects and other design professionals can expect from a modern lighting control system, and how these will enable them to ensure energy efficiency, flexibility and compliance in their building projects. Describing both the advantages of such systems, and some of the pitfalls to avoid, attendees will be left with the confidence to select the appropriate lighting control system for their clients.

RIDI Lighting is a lighting manufacturer with over 50 years’ experience in the Industry. Since 2001 it has been actively involved in designing, supplying and configuring lighting control systems, and this is now a major part of its business.

This CPD presentation uses case study examples to demonstrate how period buildings can be illuminated in conformance with the SLL Code for Lighting, Part L of the Building Regulations and even BREEAM, while using light fittings that are appropriate for the space.
