This presentation focuses on how inclusive and accessible kitchens can be created in any home, including how they can make the lives of everyone who uses them easier, safer and more comfortable. As well as providing information on the key principles of inclusive design, it addresses the things to consider throughout the survey process, and the features, benefits and options to be taken into account when specifying these solutions.

This seminar aims to explain the best practice for specifying architectural ironmongery and bathroom fittings when designing buildings, and their approaches to meeting the needs of disabled people. It covers BS8300 and Approved Document M where they relate to doors, doorways, bathrooms and associated hardware, and discusses some of the misconceptions that surround these documents.

Häfele first started in Germany in 1923, offering hardware fittings that could be delivered quickly, conveniently and reliably. In the UK it now offers a comprehensive free scheduling service and technical advice on all products, and has experience of working with architects on all types of construction project, including hospitals, hotels, commercial buildings, factories, the health sector, retail and residential properties.

This seminar includes information on the very specific features and benefits of all types of level access wet rooms for commercial and healthcare settings. It also explores the various ways they can be fitted, and provides insight into the rapid evolution of associated wetroom products, including floor formers, waterproofing substrates and glass screens.

Impey Showers was formed in the year 2000 by the Grave family, and has since grown into one of the UK's market-leading wetroom specialists. Based in Somerset, Impey pioneered the development of wetroom floor technology and is famed for creating the first wetroom floor former with built-in gradient, which is used in the healthcare market as a level-access floor and the retail market as a luxury wetroom.
