The following CPD materials fall within the ‘Designing and building it – structural design, construction, technology and engineering’ RIBA Core Curriculum topic area.
This CPD presentation focuses on how the effective use of luxury vinyl tiles (LVT) can help transform ordinary areas into inspiring spaces. It covers the different designs that can be created by exploring laying patterns, as well as the impact of zoning, and how to incorporate LVT into commercial schemes. Referencing product specification, appearance, and specific considerations such as sustainability and performance, it also covers how LVT can be a practical, problem-solving design solution.

Lighting has historically been fragile, dangerous and objectified. Yet new technologies are being developed that allow lighting systems to be embedded directly into architectural surfaces, thereby creating new opportunities to impact positively on occupants’ health and comfort.
