RIBA CPD Showcase

Entrances and Enclosures

The following CPD materials have been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
This fascinating seminar is concerned with the design of aircraft hangars: how to maximise the workable space available and how to identify the most suitable hangar door type for each application. It includes practical guidance on how efficient design can reduce the amount of real estate required. Other themes include sustainable design, lifetime costs, and health and safety.
Oversized vertical-lifting fabric doors for hangars and shipyards stack vertically upwards. For extremely large openings, multiple smaller doors with a swing-up mullion can be combined to deliver a space-saving solution for facilities housing exceptionally large aircraft and oceangoing vessels. Custom designed for every building, there are practically no restrictions to the size or arrangement of a door system when it’s produced and delivered by the experts at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems.
