It explains the alternative forms of waterproofing construction and examines in detail two specific waterproofing techniques: cementitious renders, and cavity drainage membranes. ‘Basement and Structural Waterproofing to BS 8102’ falls within both ‘climate’ and ‘designing and building it’ RIBA Core Curriculum subject headings.
