This informative and accessible CPD presentation has been designed to appeal to architects wanting to gain a better understanding of the core principles of designing out risk in the built environment.

The three principles of designing out risk are:
1. Choosing non-combustible products, where possible.
2. Ensuring that building products are suitable for their intended end use.
3. Ensuring that products are installed by a competent person and to manufacturer guidelines.
