The following RIBA-approved CPD materials all fall within the ‘Being safe – health and safety’ RIBA Core Curriculum topic area.
A complimentary document to BS9999, BS9991:2011 provides up-to-date fire safety design guidance for modern residential buildings, and reflects current trends in residential building arrangements including open-plan layouts, atria and extra-care facilities.

This presentation introduces the document and shows the flexibility of design that can now be provided by adopting this guidance, without need for specialist fire engineering input.

This three-day course offers delegates a full insight into the role of the CDM co-ordinator, the designer, the client and the CDM Regulations. It includes topics such as hazard identification, risk assessment, method statements, and health and safety legislation, plus information pack, construction phase plans and health and safety file, including the scope of services required by the CDM co-ordinator.
