This tour of the Envirowales facility shows from start to finish how lead is recycled from common everyday vehicle batteries. The primary function of the process is to extract lead and lead paste to smelt into pristine BSEN12588 lead, while also recycling the liquids and casings into usable bi-products for the detergent, glass and plastics industries.
