The seminar looks at the challenges encountered in lighting listed properties. It shows how new technologies in lighting and lighting control are providing new solutions to old problems. The presentation is highly visual and illustrated with three very different case studies.

This seminar provides an overview of the potential time and energy savings that can be achieved by using inductive coupling to power LED lighting systems instead of traditional LED drivers. It explains why new technology is required to further reduce energy consumption and how the use of high frequency AC inductive coupling can further improve efficiency. It concludes by highlighting its recent inclusion in the IET Code of Practice for the Application of LED Lighting Systems.
