This seminar provides a robust foundation on the subject of delay analysis. As one of a suite of five seminars its purpose is to inform attendees of current best practice regarding assessments of extensions of time. It will also give pointers as to what matters the ‘contract administrator’ should look out for to protect their client’s position, discusses the pros and cons of four methods of delay analysis and when each is appropriate, and provides a working example.

DGA started in 1993, and has focused on the resolution of disputes on construction projects since inception. It specialises in time, money and risk management, and currently employs over 80 consultants, in the UK, Poland, Hong Kong and South Africa. DGA offers a range of solutions for clients, from negotiating settlements, to mediation, adjudication, arbitration and providing expert evidence in court. Recently it has extended its service range to include supporting clients in delivering projects that are experiencing difficulties in being delivered on time or to budget, or both.

This seminar focuses on standards in the audio visual industry by: providing information on audiovisual industry standards and audiovisual best practices, identifying similarities between audiovisual standards and standards familiar to architects, and explaining how audio visual standards are developed.
