The following CPD materials have all been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
This is a seminar aimed at anyone interested in the properties, use and fabrication of solid surface materials. It covers: what solid surfacing is and how it is manufactured; fabrication techniques, including inconspicuous bonding and thermoforming; sinks and bowls, and how they are installed; internal and external applications, and; special properties, such as backlighting.

This seminar clearly defines applications for both internal and external board products and the differences between the types of base materials relative to the specification and application. It also provides a technical understanding of the use and compatibility of building boards for the external façade designer.
