Factory Visit, by Selectaglaze Ltd
This factory tour and seminar provides a comprehensive understanding of the benefits, design and manufacture of bespoke secondary glazing. Actually seeing the quality processes involved in each manufacturing stage should give the designer the confidence to specify secondary glazing, secure in the knowledge that the end product will meet their required performance levels.

Selectaglaze is an acknowledged specialist expert in the design, manufacture and installation of secondary glazing. Established in 1966 and granted the Royal Warrant in 2004, Selectaglaze has a vast knowledge of all building types, from listed to new build, and works closely with clients to achieve the requirements set out, helping to make buildings warmer, quieter and safer.

This CPD seminar looks at the options faced by specifiers designing safety and security into a site. It concentrates on the following learning aims: the reasons for using entrance control, the supplementation of manned guarding by technology, how to integrate security equipment into a building, how to integrate security features into a building’s design, and reasons for using vehicle control. Overall, the seminar has been designed to provide the specifier with a thorough understanding of the available technology, and to arm him or her with the knowledge to configure the most appropriate solution to satisfy each client’s requirements.

Automatic Systems has been designing and manufacturing entrance control equipment for more than 40 years. Its product portfolio complements security entrance lanes, swing gates, tripod turnstiles, full height turnstiles, interlocking doors and detection units, rising and swinging barriers, extra-long and security barriers, rising fenced barriers, rising bollards and road blockers.

This seminar aims to provide a better understanding of how entrance control products work, a greater awareness of the balance between control and security, and clear information about which products will best suit the requirements of each type of project.
