Seminar, by TOTO
This CPD seminar introduces photocatalyst technology as well as providing examples of how photocatalyst coatings may be used on building materials – highlighting their unique ecological and sustainable features. Using only natural resources (light, oxygen, air moisture and rain water) this technology delivers self-cleaning performance on façades and roofing, and even cleans the air. When used for interior surfaces it reduces bacteria, thus minimising the infections and malodours caused by them.

TOTO is a world leader in the production of sanitary ware, and is a name that has been synonymous with the advancement of bathroom culture since its creation in 1917. Technological innovations have made it an iconic and trusted brand with a careful balance of innovative ‘clean’ technology and good design. When it comes to ‘clean’ technology, TOTO has been a pioneer of photocatalyst coating technology since the mid-1990s. The company provides licenses, know-how, equipment and coating materials to European building product manufacturers, such as producers of ceramic tiles.
