Factory Visit, by ege carpets limited
This factory visit allows architects and designers to meet with key people and to look around the important departments within a modern carpet manufacturing facility, including the colour labs, product testing (to EN1307), and design studio. See and learn about innovative dye injection techniques, environmental processes (including BREEAM, LEED, EMAS, IS09001 and ISO14001), seam reduction, and the steps taken to preserve the long term appearance of carpets.

ege (sic) is a privately owned Danish company, with 75 years’ carpet manufacturing experience. It is one of Europe’s leading makers of patterned broadloom carpets, and also produces rugs, runners and carpet tiles. ege manufactures approximately 7 million m2 of carpet annually for the hospitality, education, healthcare, commercial and transportation sectors.

Seminar, by Junckers Ltd
This seminar is designed to give architects an understanding of the various types of hardwood flooring that are available today. In addition to this, it includes guides to installation and design, underfloor heating and acoustics, maintenance and expectations. It also covers the problems that can occur if hardwood flooring is not correctly specified and installed.

Junckers is a leading brand manufacturer of solid hardwood flooring. It is unique in having its own full-time technical service department which, for over 50 years, has been working with architects in giving correct specification and design advice.

Seminar, by Bona Limited
This seminar provides an in-depth examination of the types and performance characteristics of finishes available for solid and engineered wood floors, including oils, hard wax oils and lacquers. It also includes information on methods of staining and how to specify these to meet aesthetic and performance requirements.

Bona is a Swedish company that pioneered the use of water-based lacquers for wood floors in the 1970s. Bona offers a range of very low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC), high performance products for finishing and maintaining wood floors in domestic and heavily trafficked commercial locations. Bona products are specified worldwide in prestigious homes, galleries, palaces, airports and sports arenas.
