The objective of this seminar is to improve the architect’s understanding of how people use accessible facilities. Are Part M packs suitable in every instance? The simple answer is “no” – alternative arrangements are necessary for changing places facilities, school hygiene rooms and (more generally) where there is a reasonable expectation that users may be assisted by carers.

Pressalit Care manufactures innovative accessible bathroom and kitchen solutions designed to promote independence, safe working environments and return on investment opportunities. For over 40 years its design principles and product arrangements have provided successful outcomes for numerous new-build and refurbishment projects worldwide. Pressalit Care works with hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, special needs schools, day centres, hotels, changing places facilities and private accommodation.

As a market leader, Balustrading Solutions provides architects and specifiers with handrail and balustrading solutions that comply with all necessary Building Regulations requirements and British Standard recommendations for structural stability, safety and accessibility.
