This seminar describes, stage by stage, the practical processes involved in a stone conservation contract, from understanding the common mechanisms of stone decay, through assessing the repair techniques available, to selecting the correct replacement stone, highlighting the questions architects need to ask themselves and decisions they need to make when specifying stone conservation.
