Here are the latest CPD materials to have been assessed and approved by the RIBA. These include both new and recently-revised CPD materials.
This seminar considers the different types of stone and tile surfaces used for new build and restoration, with emphasis on limestone and porcelain. It presents the basic principles of protecting stone and tile surfaces and discusses the importance of correctly specifying sustainable cleaning and sealing methods. Health and safety issues and relevant industry guidelines are also addressed.

An educational presentation aimed at providing an overview of the sound insulation performance of glazed partitions and doors, to allow architects to specify sound insulation with confidence. The seminar will help to familiarise architects with the issues surrounding acoustic performance, including laboratory testing, measuring sound insulation values on-site, and how construction quality as a whole can affect that performance.
