Looks at office design and why health and happiness are important in the modern workplace. Covers: the history of office design, what legislation is in place to support the design process, the social impact of design, products available that support this, why employees’ health and wellbeing is important in the modern workplace, and the future of the working environment.

BRITA Vivreau Ltd is a global leader in the development and manufacture of filtered drinking water systems. Water systems are more than just a vending machine and should be designed to suit your environment, whether that’s in the hotel or restaurant sector, or a corporate headquarters. BRITA Vivreau services the needs of the world’s leading organisations, including around 75% of the top 100 UK businesses, and many fortune 500 companies. BRITA Vivreau purified drinking water dispensers provide an environmentally positive alternative to pre-bottled mineral waters.
We often associate handmade carpets and rugs with comfort and luxury – but perhaps less so with durability, versatility and ethical labour practices. This seminar addresses head-on the myths and realities of specifying hand-woven, hand-tufted and hand-knotted carpets and rugs. It takes an exotic journey from India, Nepal and Austria to… Northamptonshire, offering a practical and inspirational look at how these beautiful floorcoverings are made. Raw materials, design, manufacturing, testing, labelling and maintenance are all examined, as is the issue of affordability and suitability for residential and commercial applications. It is a journey that is guaranteed to surprise and delight.

Quality with style, a love of handmade textures, natural colours and sustainable fibres, and a respect for the environment and those who craft beautiful floor coverings – these are the hallmarks of a Jacaranda carpet and rug. Using traditional artisan techniques, beautiful hand-woven textures are created in sophisticated shades, with collections suited to domestic and contract locations.
