Bulthaup Gmbh & Co Kg - Living Spaces. This CPD explores the development of kitchen design over the past 70 years and explains how kitchen furniture has evolved to address the current place that the kitchen holds as part of the living space. Factory processes are also explained to give an understanding of the different materials and techniques used today including: veneer / solid wood, laminate, lacquer, aluminium, laser edge welding and monobloc manufacturing. Samples will be available to view. There will also be Insight into the individual planning of kitchens in living spaces.
FSB (Franz Schneider Brakel) Gmbh & Co Kg - Specifying high performing door furniture and finishes. This CPD will give an overview of the different finishes available within the materials selection commonly used within the design industry. The core materials for door furniture are aluminium, stainless steel, brass and bronze and therefore we will look at how and where you can use the different materials and what the advantages and disadvantages are for each of them.
