This presentation therefore covers: type of loading, static or dynamic and severity of impact; details of all chemicals that come into contact with the floor; temperatures that the flooring is required to withstand in normal service or as part of cleaning operations; colour, uniformity and retention, aesthetics and decorative effects; compliance with hygiene or food industry requirements (including ease of cleaning); special requirements, such as slip resistance or static controlled characteristics; expected life of the flooring; moisture content of the substrate; time available for the application and cure of the flooring, and of course; cost.
