RIBA CPD Showcase

Latest CPD

Here are the latest CPD materials to have been assessed and approved by the RIBA. These include both brand new and newly-revised CPD materials.
This presentation examines engineered filmic materials (EFM) used for cladding flat surfaces such as rain screens and composite panels. Typically about 160 microns thick, EFMs are usually self-adhesive and easier to use than paint, whether in situ for surface refurbishment or during new construction. They are self-supporting, available in a range of colours and easy to clean.

Metamark Technical Films (MTF) is a UK-based subsidiary of Metamark UK Ltd.

MTF develops and manufactures engineered filmic material used in the construction and allied industries. The company is a pioneer in the development of applications for engineered filmic materials, which have in turn revolutionised the refurbishment and maintenance of buildings by offering a sustainable and practical alternative to paint and traditional finishes.
